Author, Philip spent one full year working and travelling as a digital nomad.
Whilst travelling, Philip was also running his successful real estate business from his mobile phone and laptop. It was also said to be a time of self-discovery for the author, an entrepreneur from Palm Beach, USA.
During the year Philip spent time living in Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Columbia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Croatia, Portugal and the Czech Republic. Discovering each place through the eyes of a resident instead of those of a tourist he learnt to love each city for the place that it is.
Throughout the book Philip shares his insights with regards to politics, humanity, culture, wealth, history and cuisine, especially as he follows a vegan diet.
“Phil’s writing style is light and conversational, making his journey all that more relatable. His dashes of wit and observation are only accentuated by his sidebar tidbits on the geography or history of the city he is in. Really enjoyed the read and added a few places to my bucket list!”Geoff Haynes
Trying to hold on to his American values whilst also travelling with 48 other people, Philip aimed to inspire readers of his memoir to achieve their own ambitions through the joy of travel. His own achievements aside from the memoir include being a real estate investor, a vegan activist and speaker, a published songwriter and a divemaster.
