Azamara have launched their Snap and Sail photography contest for a chance to explore South America and work with them.
Running until 26th August 2019, cruise line Azamara are looking for their new content creator with an Instagram based photography competition. Open to residents in the U.K. and U.S. the lucky winner will also step on board the Azamara Pursuit to explore South America.
Inspired by World Photography Day which took place on 19th August, the competition is aimed at adventure seekers. Azamara hopes to inspire more of them to share their travel stories.

Contestants are to post a photo of one of Azamara’s current or upcoming destinations to a public Instagram account and include both #SnapandSail and #AzamaraContestEntry. The post caption should explain what you love about the place. The winners will be selected at random after the competition closes as 17:30 EDT on 26th August and announced by 2nd September 2019.
The winner will be invited on to a 13-night voyage of Tango, Salsa and Samba to capture images that will showcase the authentic cultural experiences enjoyed on board and at their destinations of Rio de Janeiro, Buzios, Paraty, Sao Paulo, Punta del Este, Montevideo and Buenos Airies.
The cruise will depart from Buenos Aires on 8th December 2019.
Other features of the trip include a scenic train ride through the rainforest to the peak of Corcovado Mountain to visit the Christ the Redeemer whilst taking in the 360-degree view of Rio’s beaches and city, plus a visit to see Uruguay’s sea lions in Punta del Este, the largest non-migratory colonoly in the world.

The winner will also be invited onto an available voyage of their choice with a return flight included.
As Azamara are committed to destination immersion the company also offer other sailings which include places such as the Chilean Fjords and the Falkland Islands. Their ships are of a medium size which allows them to dock in smaller ports enhancing the travel experience of their guests. Some other activities which travellers can enjoy are kayaking, fishing and visiting king penguins.

During 2019 the company will carry guests to 316 ports over 78 countries to enjoy 150 overnight stays and be entertained for 268 late nights.
