Star Air have increased their flights within India becoming the first Indian airline to connect Indore and Kishangarh.
The Indian based commuter airline of Star Air continues to expand after a successful first year of operations. The company became the first airline of India to offer a direct flight between Indore and Kishangarh under the scheme RCS-UDAN. It allows passengers wishing to travel the 550 kilometres between the two destinations to do so in a comfortable one-hour flight rather than over 10 hours on land transport.
In recognition of this new route two launch events were held, one at each airport. They were described by Star Air to be grand ceremonies which hosted many public figures alongside senior airport and AAI officials.
“Star Air is the first airline which has fulfilled the aspirations of millions of people,” said Mr.Shrenik Ghodawat, MD of Star Air. “By starting the first ever direct flight services between Indore and Kishangarh.” He explained: “For many decades, people of Belagavi, Karnataka aspired for affordable and fast transportation services to Kishangarh. Considering the demand, the management of Star Air decided to extend the offering of its Kishangarh service to a larger number of people living across the area of Belagavi, by providing flight services between Belagavi and Kishangarh with one stop at Indore from March 2020.”
The airline has made this route operational since their announcement in February of this year.
By offering flights within Rajasthan, Star Air has entered its seventh Indian state. This is expected to benefit millions of people from surrounding areas.
As Kishangarh is one of India’s most famous destinations the flights are expected to appeal to many tourists spending time in India. Forts, palaces and temples are all easily accessible from the airports as are Pushkar Lake and Ajmer Sharif Dargah.
The aim of Star Air is to connect real India.
They have already been very successful across their other services covering Delhi-NCR, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujrat. This latest service is also said to be proving popular.
