Visit Jacksonville are inviting guests from everywhere to experience their southern hospitality and warm sunshine through their virtual experience hub.
The accredited destination marketing organisation Visit Jacksonville works towards growing leisure and tourism within the city of Jacksonville in the north-east of Florida. They have now launched their virtual experience hub so that when visitors cannot go to them, they can go to their visitors.

The #JaxFromHome initiative is available to everyone online. Full of 360-degree videos, attraction videos, live cameras, images and tourist information, virtual visitors can experience everything the city has to offer from home. The city homes more than 80,000 acres of park land, nature trails, various species of wildlife and many activities including hiking, biking, surfing, diving, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, kiting, horse riding, yoga and golf.

Hoping that it really will be the next best thing to being in Jax, visitors can virtually hike some of the 46,000 acres of the Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve, ride the waves at Jacksonville Beach, fish the Intracoastal Waterway and enjoy the Jacksonville Symphony.
The live camera feeds around the city show views over downtown Jacksonville, the historic riverside, beaches and the surf reports.

Across their social medias, Jacksonville Zoo and Catty Shack Ranch are filming live on Instagram and through Facebook watch parties. Entertainers, artists and top chefs are hosting virtual classes and the hospitality and retail industries are showcasing their businesses. Viewers may also meet a local nature expert or see the fishing and diving reefs.
With different things set to go on all the time, there is an events calendar plus a selection of online activities including word search puzzles to explain some of the local history, art and culture.
For those wishing to visit Jacksonville in person, the virtual trip planner allows a selection of things to see and do to be saved or printed and the Now and Later Deals offer the opportunity to make a selection of purchases.
