American ranch re-opens on the Lost Sierra of North California offering guests a tank of fuel for holidaying with them.
Opening for the 2020 season from June until the end of October, the working guest ranch of Greenhorn will welcome guests for an exciting experience with the same western hospitality and a tank of fuel. Nestled in the Lost Sierra of North Carolina the ranch covers 600 acres of land. Offering guests an active holiday experience of life on a ranch with riding lessons, horseback trail rides, experienced wranglers, fishing ponds, a fire pit, rodeo arenas and everything else required to release the inner cowboy of its guests.

Established in 1962 they are a member of the Dude Ranch Association.
“After recent months, the wide-open spaces and uninterrupted views of the Sierra are especially inviting,” said Jill Rivoli, General Manager. “We are doing everything we can to keep our guests and staff safe and to help everyone find a way to get outside, enjoy a family vacation, and reconnect for a little while.”

To comply with current regulations changes will be made across the ranch. The beautiful cabins have been refurbished to meet accommodation requirements, the airstream trailer has been refurbished and updated cleaning and distancing procedures have been introduced. There are now also several new additions to the activities timetable plus the introduction of new e-assist mountain bikes. Dining can now be enjoyed in the outdoors with more plated meal services available.

The same hundreds of miles of stunning views and trails across the Sierra’s creeks are still available as they have always been to ride, walk or cycle.

Greenhorn Ranch is open to all guests including families and will be offering the free tank of fuel to guests during August, September and October.
